Manager - Transfer Agency Operations (evening shift)Manages a team that is responsible for conducting Transfer Agency operations activities on behalf of assigned clients, during the US Business day.
These activities include share dealing, cash settlements, intra-day reporting to Clients, Fund managers and investors, Registration and account opening and general TA investor and client servicing.
The role includes oversight responsibility for TA processing conducted by our operations teams based in India as well as managing a support team in Ireland.
Manages relationships with assigned clients and resolves any escalated issues related to fund transactions and reporting.
Manages processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, timely delivery of reporting and quality client and investor service is provided.
Ensures strong collaboration with other TA Managers as part of the TA Management team.
Regular communication with Client Service Delivery managers and key players in BNYM including Fund accounting, Global Markets and Custody.
Provides guidance to team and ensures records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Plans resourcing and allocates tasks and ensures workflow is monitored to track that deliverables through the US business day will be met in line with Service level agreement.
This may include working with other TA Managers to ensure resource allocation is agreed in advance where holiday cover or rotation may be required.
Records MIS, analyses trends and develops and implements processes to improve team performance.
Ensures compliance with corporate policies and programs.
Responsible for the effective leadership and development of team members, including staff performance review.
Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively and collaborate with their colleagues as a team.
Contributes to the achievement of departmental objectives.
Qualifications Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
5-7 years of total work experience with at least 1-2 years of management experience preferred.
Experience in transfer agency operations or related financial services experience essential.
