Assistant Manager (Lead Analyst, Client Processing) - Transfer Agency Operations (evening shift)Support the TA Manager of a team that is responsible for conducting transfer agency operations activities on behalf of assigned clients, during the US Business day.
These activities include share dealing, cash settlements, intra-day reporting to Clients, Fund managers and investors, registration and general TA investor and client servicing.
The role includes oversight responsibility for TA processing conducted by our operations teams based in India as well as managing a small support team in Ireland.
Supports the manager in overseeing processes, to ensure accurate processing of transactions and payments, timely delivery of reporting and supporting of processing teams where volumes or deadline pressures arise.
Resolves any Client issues that may be escalated related to fund transactions and reporting and direct communication with Clients and their investors.
Ensures strong collaboration is maintained between Ireland and India teams, and regular communication is maintained with other TA Operations teams, Client Service Delivery managers and key players in BNYM including Fund accounting, Global Markets and Custody teams.
Supports TA Manager in resource planning, training and ongoing development of staff.
Ensures records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
Records MIS, analyzes trends and works with Manager to develop and implement processes to improve team performance.
Ensures compliance with corporate policies and programs.
Contributes to the achievement of departmental objectives.
Qualifications Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
3-5 years of total work experience with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in transfer agency operations or related financial services experience essential.
